Doug has had much success with his other publications, particularly with 'Eat Raw, Eat Well' which was recognized as one of the best vegetarian cook-books in the world. In his new book, Doug has comprised recipes with easy, locally found ingredients that are not only healthy for you, but the environment also. Curious vegans and "foodies" listened intently as Doug demoed various dishes from his new cook-book before the crowd sampled some of Doug's Tempe Croquette. The general consensus on the creation was, "YUM!" To taste some of Doug's delicious food stop by Public Kitchen, his vegan restaurant in Toronto.
