Description: A Monster March was held in downtown Oakville on October 26th for aspiring firefighter Liam Cuttle's 4th Birthday. This past summer, Liam was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a cancer of the sympathetic nervous system that usually affects infants and young children. Children with high-risk neuroblastoma, like Liam, have a 50 per cent survival rate. The March took place in support of the James Fund, with all $11,235 funds raised going directly to SickKids Hospital for drug trials. Children and grownups were able to wear their Halloween costumes and march from Town Square to the Oakville Fire Station on Randall Street to enjoy birthday cake and a chance to meet the firefighters.
